snowy blizzard) but it was worth it! We had a great evening! Queensway Cathedral seats 3,000 (we were told) and it was jam-packed. At one time in the evening the lead singer, Mark Hall, asked those who were serving the one True God to stand up and it was so cool to see so many! The concert was so God-honouring and faith-encouraging and it was wonderful to share the experience with our kids. We'd go back at any other opportunity!
Today we celebrated mom's 75th birthday! We'd planned on taking mom to a seafood restaurant so she could have a nice halibut (HAS to be halibut!) fish dinner but the restaurant cancelled our reservations last Friday because they were closed for Family Day! Thankfully Swiss Chalet was opened and we had a nice lunch there instead. Then everyone came back to our place for goodies and a visit. We had a fun time. Melanie & Peter and family weren't able to come.
