This past Sunday, Alyssa (along with eleven other young people) made a Public Profession of her Faith at church. We rejoiced with her - and were very humbled - to know that God has done great things in her and caused her to come to this day! We had a wonderful service with a filled sanctuary - great singing and proclamation of the Word. We are blessed!
Thank you to the family and friends that were able to come and celebrate with us. It was awesome to have so many share in our joy! Our pastor, "Uncle Henry" baptized Alyssa on August 14, 1994 and now, almost 17 years later, she has followed the Lord's calling and claimed Him as her own. We praise God for all His wonderful blessings!
We were also thankful that Andrew (Dad) was able to attend the service, despite having surgery just a few days earlier. He's doing very well and back at work today. He is on "light duties" for 3 more weeks and has done well with those restraints.
